Roles and Responsibilities
  • Board level design for audio/video products, including analog and high-speed digital circuits.
  • Work with board layout and mechanical contractors.
  • Board bring-up, including basic software and scripting as needed.
  • Create and maintain BOMs and product documentation.
  • Assist with product manufacturing as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • BSEE or equivalent.
  • At least 5 years of experience in board design. More experienced engineers are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Some experience writing RTL code for FPGA.
Additional Information

The ideal candidate will have previous experience designing professional-grade audio/video equipment, including SDI interfaces, analog/digital audio interfaces, Ethernet ports, and processors. Cobalt Digital has offices in Champaign, IL; Santa Clara, CA; and Orange County, CA. Preference will be given to candidates in one of these locations, or candidates willing to relocate.
