Travel Requirements
Roles and Responsibilities
- Works with the technical staff to understand and document product operation.
- Works with the marketing department to support their activities, including the following:
- Maintenance of the Cobalt Digital web site.
- Preparation of marketing materials, such as brochures, product briefs, and print/online advertising.
- Creates drawings and block diagrams to illustrate product operation.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Adobe FrameMaker.
- Fluent in C/C++ and multi-threaded programming.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or industry experience.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a technical writer or copy editor.
Additional Information
Cobalt Digital has offices in Champaign, IL; Santa Clara, CA; and Orange County, CA. Preference will be given to candidates in one of these locations, or candidates willing to relocate. Candidates must supply 3-5 writing samples. Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in the broadcast or professional audio/video fields.
