Cobalt Introduces the 9085 Loudness Processor for openGear
Cobalt Digital Inc. will display the new 9085 Loudness Processor with Embedding/De-Embedding at the NAB 2010 show in Las Vegas, NV, April 12-15. The card features Linear Acoustic AEROMAX™ loudness processing technology, introducing the first loudness processor for the openGear™ platform.
Options available for the 9085 include 2.0 stereo, dual 2.0 for an additional SAP channel, and 5.1 surround sound. The 9085 has sixteen channels of both analog and AES embedding/de-embedding capabilities with full embedded audio support. Other features include frame synchronization, ensuring zero audio delay compared to video. Dolby® encoding/decoding options as well as BS.1770 for outbound loudness metering and monitoring create a perfect solution for ingest or after Master Control.
Linear Acoustic AEROMAX™ technology will also be available on Cobalt’s new Fusion3G™ 9900 series of openGear™ cards. End-users can combine AEROMAX™ with UPMAX™ 2.0 to 5.1 upmixing technology to get a complete audio solution for any facility.
