The +SCALER option adds the ability to scale the picture sizing to the correct aspect ratio for a given output. This option can be added to several openGear® cards per path.  Per Path means if the card is a 4 channel device and capable of adding the +SCALER, the option may be added to any 1 path or all of the processing paths.

The Scaler option is available for numerous Cobalt card-based models where option +SCALER is listed in the model web page Options section. The option is software-based and can be ordered with card purchase, or activated later using a downloadable feature key via free DashBoard™ remote control/monitoring software (no need to remove or replace the card.)
